RICHMOND — Like other entities, Virginia’s colleges and universities have experienced significant disruption as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. In anticipation of questions and concerns, the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) created a webpage with information to assist students, parents, colleges and universities navigate through these challenging times.
Divided into sections for students, parents and institutions, the page contains links to each institution's COVID-specific website, student loan updates, information about professional programs, resources for basic college student needs, the GEAR UP Virginia program, virtual college tours, guidance for private postsecondary schools, considerations for early student move-outs, as well as COVID resources from the State Higher Education Executive Officers (SHEEO) association and the federal government. The webpage will be updated as new information becomes available.
