Application Process
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available October 1 of each year. The FAFSA website includes the FAFSA application. For questions about eligibility and the application and awarding process, contact your college financial aid office.

Application Process
Most state programs do not have a separate application, but require that students submit a FAFSA or VASA application to their preferred institution. See the table of financial aid programs for information on the application process for each program and the table of financial aid deadlines for each institution's requirement for filing a FAFSA as this is often a requirement to receive aid.
