RICHMOND — The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) will hold its regularly scheduled meeting October 23-24 at the Virginia Community College System Office in Richmond.
The Council’s Academic Affairs, and Resources and Planning committees will meet October 23 at 3:00 p.m. at the VCCS office. Topics include actions on proposed organizational changes at public institutions, proposed edits to SCHEV program approval policy, enrollment projections and budget and policy recommendations for 2024-26. Council also will discuss work of the Academic Affairs Committee.
The full Council will convene for its regular meeting at 9:00 a.m. on October 24. David Doré, VCCS chancellor will present remarks. Topics include action on statewide strategic plan initiatives. In addition, Council will discuss SCHEV’s role in civic engagement and the Day of Dialogue and will receive a report from the SCHEV director search committee.
