RICHMOND — The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) will hold its regularly scheduled Council meeting next week at Reynolds Community College’s Parham Road campus in Henrico.
The Council’s Academic Affairs, and Resources and Planning committees will meet from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 11. The full Council will convene for its regular meeting at 12:45 p.m. on the same day. Heather McKay, executive director, Virginia Office of Education Economics, will present remarks.
Topics include actions on programs at public institutions and revocation of a certificate to operate. In addition, Council will discuss the Outstanding Faculty Awards; the Governor’s introduced budget and General Assembly session; the interim report on the Cost and Funding Needs study; and the Virginia Alternative Student Aid (VASA) Application.
