RICHMOND — The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) will hold its regularly scheduled Council meetings next week at Radford University.
The Council’s Academic Affairs, and Resources and Planning committees will meet Monday, March 20 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Topics include actions on programs at public institutions, proposed organizational changes at public institutions and review of a proposed doctoral program. In addition, Council will discuss private postsecondary education school closures, New Economy Workforce Credential Annual Report, and the six-year plan process.
The full Council will convene for its regular meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21. Bret Danilowicz, president of Radford University, will present remarks. Council will engage in conversation with students from SCHEV’s Student Advisory Committee about critical issues impacting students and support services. In addition, Council will discuss priority initiatives for the Pathways to Opportunity Plan and the 2023 General Assembly session and new SCHEV duties.
